worst hotel experience, room full of ants and arrogant stuff

Absolutely the worst hotel experience ever in my life, completely unprofessional and arrogant, rude staff which don't care about their guests. during my stay i discovered my room had ants everywhere. in the bathroom, on my bad, in the room, in my shoes. when i discovered the insects, i have made a complaint and asked to be moved to another room. i was told there were no rooms available and was informed by the receptionist that they have never heard anyone complaining about ants, and it is the first time somebody mentions that. in 30 seconds the receptionist gives me a spray against ants and i get an advice to go and spray the ants in my room and open the windows. like.... are you serious? i decided to move out as it was impossible to stay in the room and sleep with ants in my bed, so i made a request to return me the amount i have paid for the room as this is anti-sanitary, which was declined. so i had to walk out at night and urgently seek for another hotel to stay. i requested to talk to the manager and everybody was literally hiding their manager from me, who mysteriously is constantly unavailable, but they spoke to him just 5 minutes ago! or he was just at the hotel, but what a shame! he just left! after talking and complaining to booking.com even they were not able to claim the refund on not used nights, which is a complete rip off. everybody is avoiding contact and is not capable of resolving the problem, this is unacceptable to act like this and be extremely arrogant and rude with the guests. avoid at all costs, and could be good to call the sanitary services to check the hotel, wish they will clean it one day, at least with their own sprays, i'm sure there is plenty at their reception!

I loved Stella Etoile and it deserves higher than a 3 star rating. Staff were all so friendly, location is the best with a 2-3 min walk to Charles de gaulle etoile station which is very central, few min walk to champs elysees and lots of restaurants and bars near by. Room was comfortable and clean, beds were really comfy and the window/balcony is pretty traditional parisian style with view of arc de triomphe. only downsides - our neighbours were very noisy and you could hear people around in the night. it’s on a fairly busy street and we were on level 1 so you could hear passers by talking as they walked past. however i got some ear plugs and this solved it. air con didn’t work but you have a little (but effective!) heater which you can put on and off as you like. would suggest some drawers by the bed or somewhere in the room :) all in all would 100% recommend and will be back on my next paris trip

This hotel fits our needs very well. It is right down the street and close to the Arc de Triomphe and a block from the Charles De Gaulle Etoile metro which has many connections. There was always someone at the front desk to help with whatever one needed. The bed was comfortable, the room small but clean, bathroom very small but functional. The breakfast had enough options and the lady that served us breakfast was very attentive. The price is reasonable though I know it changes with the time of year. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay.

This hotel was amazing! It was in such a wonderful central location. All of the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again if I visit Paris again. The room was perfect for the three people that were staying in it! Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very nice. Great view of the arc de triomphe from our room!

The hotel view and location are really perfect but what i really didn’t like at the hotel The rooms sizes are too small I couldn’t even put my bags anywhere at the room and you have to leave the room card at the hotel reception when you leave the hotel , also the breakfast wasn’t really good the quality and varieties are too small
